Photo of the Day #25 – Chinooked

So one early gloomy morning in May I decided to take a trip up the coast. I eventually landed in Santa Barbara. Where I immediately ended up roaming around not only the lovely downtown, but the hills as well.

In the hills is where I found this lovely relic. It appears to be either a Chinook or a close cousin of the Chinook circa the 70’s/80’s. Anyway there was no way in heck I was going to miss the opportunity to photograph this gem. So without further adieu……

Do you suppose that there is orange shag carpeting on the inside? Definitely well preserved, but that’s CA for you. Nice shot.

OMG I bet there is and I bet it is super RAD. I bet there’s even room enough for a matching bean bag.
